Lucknow Barracks

At Lucknow Barracks in Tidworth, we were commissioned to provide full multi-disciplinary design services for a £42m redevelopment and upgrade project. This included everything from architecture and structural engineering to planning supervision and counter terrorism measures.

The project was designed around a campus theme to produce an integrated development of working and living accommodation fit for the 21st century. Located on a brownfield site, the various buildings are simple, efficient and effective, robust and easy to maintain. They have been carefully integrated into the sloping site to create attractive urban spaces where pedestrian routes are segregated from traffic as much as possible.
